Hartmann Controls Protector ACCESS CONTROL system consists of controllers of various
types as well as client and server software. The protector system is best suited
for applications ranging from 3 card readers to 100+ readers. Protector
integrates with 3rd party systems such as DVR's, CCTV switchers, paging systems
etc.
Our Protector-II Controllers are ETL Listed. Conforming to
UL STD.294 and Certified to CSA-C22.2 NO. 205

“Protector II” has been designed as a distributed system, where individual
components will not compromise the integrity of the entire system. Protector
II controllers will operate 100% independently. If communication to your
server PC is unavailable, each controller makes its own decisions and will
store 2,000 events in the memory until communication is restored. Therefore
keeping your system always up and running and your event history up to date.

-Configure a reader to allow certain individuals to Arm and Disarm the Alarm
panel with there access card. When activated an audible and visual
notification is given. Review your history reports to who armed and
disarmed the system.
- Access Privileges
-You can configure up to 255 different access privileges for your
cardholders
- Time Zones
-You can configure up to 200 different time zones for assigning to door
operation, input points, elevator floor control, and access privileges.
- Import Function
-The Import function allows you to quickly take an existing database in a
CSV format and import it into our system. This speeds up the process for
setting up your cardholders.
- Customize the Logon
menu with your own corporate logo
- First Card In
- this feature will not unlock the door until the first valid user presents
a card. This is great protection from having your door unlock on a schedule
(snow day feature!)
- Timed Anti-Pass Back
- Extremely flexible features, which prevent sharing of cards for a
predetermined time. An example would be for paid parking; once the cad is
used, it would not be able to work on that reader for the predetermined
time.
- Site Code Update
-When dong takeovers of an existing system with readers and cards and you do
not know the site/facility code, simply enter ‘0” into our system for site,
code and we will create a file when the cards are used. When card’s have
been used simply click on Update Site codes to properly assign all “0” site
codes to appropriate site code that was registered.
